A variety of activities will be carried out during the day depending on the age of the children in my care. These include colouring, reading, baking, painting, music, puzzles, dressing up, play doh and various craft activities. I try, where possible, to take young children to toddler groups, reading sessions at the library and soft play centres. If there is an entrance fee, the parent/carer will be asked to pay. | | I take children on outings during school holidays which will include visits to the farm, the zoo and the park. Entrance fees will be payable by the parent/carer. We go on days out to the fire station and police station which are a great success. The children love the outings during the school holidays. I try to make them as fun and educational as possible. Before any such school holiday outing, you will be given an activity schedule setting out all the daily activities for that school holiday. You will be asked to sign and return a consent form, giving me permission to take your child/ren on such outings. |
